Toi Ben (To The Station) | Immersive Experience Design & UX/UI Design & Mobile App

Toi Ben is an immersive experience implemented during the second stage of the Interactive Design Stream. Along with EBUSTA Mobile App above, it employs technology and design in public spaces to enrich the experience of travelers at the Eastern Bus Station (Ben Xe Mien Dong), fostering a sense of tranquility through a multi-sensory immersive design.

Mobile Application
EBUSTA is a mobile app designed for individuals aged 20 to 25 navigating the Eastern Bus Station. It addresses challenges such as station navigation, lengthy and cumbersome processes, and the absence of an information system and entertainment options for passengers waiting for their buses.

Design Challenge
My target clients are those whose age ranges from 20-25. They have difficulties in navigating the station, waiting for the long and unneccessary process. They want to have a clear system of information to know fixed schedule, fixed price and many other information happening in the station. Moreover, there is an urge to have some kinds of entertainment to kill the waiting time.

Design Solution
Following my personas’ expectations, needs and frustrations, I summed up and addressed my design challenges which
focus on:

(1) navigation
(2) entertainment while waiting
(3) ticket-buying process (from booking to getting on the bus)
(4) a consistent system of information

Softwares used:
(1) Adobe Illustrator
(2) Figma
(3) Adobe After Effects
(4) Adobe Photoshop
(5) Blender
